Returns & Refund Policy

At Alden Tech, every computer we sell is built, configured, inspected, and tested before it reaches you. Because computers are high-value electronics that can depreciate immediately after being opened, installed, activated, or used, our return policy differs from a traditional retail store. Many Alden Tech systems are also built or configured specifically for an individual customer.

Custom-Built Computers

Once assembly of a custom computer has begun, the order generally cannot be canceled or returned for a refund simply because the customer changes their mind. If there is a problem with your computer, defective components and workmanship issues are handled under the Alden Tech Limited Warranty rather than as a standard return.

Pre-Built and Ready-to-Sell Computers

For computers sold from existing Alden Tech inventory that were not custom-built or materially modified for the customer, you may request a return within 14 calendar days of delivery or pickup. A return must be authorized by Alden Tech before the computer is shipped or brought back. Non-defective computer returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Defective or Damaged Products

If your Alden Tech computer arrives damaged or does not operate properly, contact us before attempting to return the computer. Depending on the circumstances, Alden Tech may provide remote troubleshooting, repair the system, replace a defective component, replace the computer, or authorize another appropriate resolution.

Shipping Damage

Visible shipping damage should be reported as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Keep the computer, shipping carton, and packing materials while the claim is being reviewed.

Return Authorization Required

Do not ship a computer or component back to Alden Tech without authorization. Contact us first to request a return authorization.

To request a return or report a problem, contact Alden Tech with your name, order or invoice number, the product purchased, a description of the issue, and photos or video when relevant.
